the 4.08 gears will also get rid of S-mode, but im sure alot of yall dont care.

I'm in the same boat as the OP, already have Art Pipes, F.I cbe, G3's, pulleys, Uprev tune and still looking for more power while staying NA...

How does it work with momentum headers??? are these direct bolt on?

Yes they are a direct bolt on. just have to buy 350z test pipes to work. I already feel and have seen these are better than LTH. But only take it for what it's worth.

Put her on the bottle. A 370z with full bolt ons and a 125 shot will be moving pretty damn fast. Nitrous kits and nice install only runs about $1,000 so its cheaper than a gear install and a nice cbe. If i were in your position and wanted a lot of power without spending the $15k+ for FI, i would opt for a solid nitrous kit, full bolt ons, gears, lsd, tires, and a tune.

Yea, he will be at higher rpms when cruising at highway speeds. Personally, I don't mind it because I don't really care about MPG.

I will make a new thread with video comparison of the RPMs at different speeds with stock and 4.08s. For the 7AT, you will lose cruise control and you need the differential housing from a 6MT for the gear swap.

I would say like a 2-3 mpg difference from what I have read. 6MT will not lose cruise control but I heard that SRM will turn off after exceeding around 120MPH, but after turning the car off and back on, the SRM works again. This is just information I have read from doing research on the gears.

Great people to deal with at SpecialtyZ. Sebs did my car's tuning.

In my case I'm more of a track junkie, love going to track days and autocross almost every other weekend, so nitrous is not going to work it for me.

Haha, the trade + cash idea might work. Then we'll switch some stuff over like wheels. Then you'll end up with my LED mods and such. I might be better off selling a stock-ish 370Z.

:iagree: Seb did the tuning on my car as well. Awesome guy! That's why I took my car back to him for the gears.

You don't lose down shift rev matching on the 7AT. However, I read it is off by a little. Same goes for the manuals. One member stated it was off by around 300 rpms (6MT) and that it wasn't even that noticeable.

Also had a motordyne manifold for a couple weeks, but it did nothing at all for me, so I took it off and sold it.

difference now:
rear muffler section removed and replaced with glass packs to make room for diff cooler
headers and test pipes.

Do you think the 4.08 Gears will be a bad thing for drift application or autocross?
As in, they may be too short? And will have to be switching gears more times than needed?
