Looks fine though a little on the higher side, also if you didn't run the engine the oil filter would not have filled up yet.

Your good the oil is between the two dots

"You're" good. Some will fill up the filter. As the engine heats up it will expand slightly too and increase in volume.

Well thanks for the info and advice guys :D i need a measuring cup, itll make me feel better about that 1/8 of a quart lol.

I'd add a touch more, I believe your oil should be at the dot of the full line...
But yeah, you're fine where you are, as long as you don't hit the "L" dot

No, just, usually my cars are 5 quarters flat.. I didnt know how to measure 1/8 of a quarter so when i noticed how much i had i kind of panicked since i added more oil blindly. I didnt know if i added too much or too little. Next time ill have a measuring cup :D

I've never heard anyone refer to a quart as a quarter. But I guess it makes sense. 1/8 of a quarter is 1/32nd of a gallon.

You're overthinking this. As long as you're between the two dots, you're good. Just eyeball it.
