Nissan Ester oil only has a small percentage of ester base in it where brands like Red Line is all pure Ester oil.

A single "viscosity" i.e. only comes in 5W30, not a single weight oil.

Oil threads are so much fun. I don't even remember what the original question was.

Does Mobil 1 0w40 have esters?

Good read

Why are you so hung up on esters? Your Z will run fine with or without esters in the oil.

The price will tell you. Easily.
