I'm debating on getting an oil cooler after my uprev tune. Is it worth it if it usually doesn't go over 120F? If it will prolong the life of my engine, I'm all for it.

Do you mean 220?

NickBaragona 03-19-2012 06:53 PM

Yes, 220F. Is there anyway to edit the thread title?

no, just make sure you change your oil often and try to get synthetic if you can. waste of money and time

GaleForce 03-19-2012 07:07 PM

Wow! It's only 13°C here and my car will easily go over 220°F just getting on the highway. You're lucky!

No. Save your money.

NickBaragona 03-19-2012 07:33 PM

At what point is an oil cooler needed? If it hits 230F?

Huan'z 03-19-2012 07:39 PM

Save money and go synthetic oil. That's the best choice for u. Take that money to buy CAI

NickBaragona 03-19-2012 07:56 PM

Just updated my sig, already have CAI, CBE & LTH. Uprev tune on Saturday!
