monitoring 7AT temps?
This 370Z is my DD but, I'd like to take it out to a track day sometime. Instead of going head-first and buying a $700 transmission cooler, I'd like to monitor the tranny fluid temps for a while. I'm interested in the ScangGauge which connects via the OBDII port. Would a device like this be able to use the factory sensors and provide accurate real-time temps? Anybody have a cheaper/better solution?

Also I'm mounting a 25R Oil Cooler tommorow. Would it be ok to run a 25R + 19R core upfront? or would that block too much flow to the radiator? I'm guessing I'd have to relocate the power steering cooler.

Nope. The radiator had 2 fan on the back n will turn on when necessary. U should be fine.

so could scangauge provide accurate tranny temps?

nybody using an ob2 sensor/display to
check TFT? is this possible for the 370? |
nybody using a scanggauge/ aeroforce that has an 7AT? and can check if TFT can be displayed?

No, you can't get 7AT fluid temps via normal OBD-II tools. The data exists, but it's some proprietary PID or similar mechanism. It really sucks, because you also can't accurately refill the 7AT and set the fluid level correctly without access to the temp data. The dealership can see it via their Consult-III tool.

that sucks but thanks for the clarification. While it would be really nice to have both a TFT gauge and a tranny cooler. it would cost way too much. I think I'll just buy a tranny cooler.
