These times cant be true...

What up everyone. Well, in the past month I installed a Nismo S-tune exhaust along with a bullydog tuner. I hook up the chip to my computer and downloaded the lastest package for the 370z. It took about 15 min too sinc up with my car's ECU. I changed the rev limiter to 7800 RPMs and turn the Top Speed Limiter to 180mph. I also change the throttle sensitivity to extreme for a little performance run on a "closed" road. I selected the performance test option and it told me to make a complete stop. So I stopped and as soon my car moved an inch the time would start. She revved and had a great launch, but unfortunately these results seem too good to be true. Now I must say, my car does seem to pull a good bit quicker but do any of you have a guess on why the results came out like this?

that.. unfortunately is impossible.

Hit the nearest drag strip and let us know how the times from the track compare to these.

^ +1. imo the results sound too good to be true.

I would have to agree... Hit the track and post up your results!

Handheld tuner times are known to be a little aggressive. However, I have seen Z's run those times but usually with more aggressive gearing.

Run a few more times and take the average. That quarter mile isn't unheard of, but the 0-60 is too good to be true.

With some good tires and a shorter gear like a 3.90 or 4.08, those times are possible. Those numbers are not impossible but definitely optimistic.

The computer is likely timing these things the moment it picks up velocity. Takes out the reaction time of a driver

Here are 2 of my time slips
60 ft 1.869, 1/8, 8.185 @89.24, 1/4, 12.721 @ 110.05
1.905, 8.237 @86.64, 12.796@ 109.15
2.1. 8.3 @ 87.0, 12.7 @ 109.0 your times
Bases on your 60 ft times i do not think that you will go that fast.
I also have 4.08 gears 305 drag radials and full bolt ons with 304 rwhp and my car has been lightend by 180 lbs for those runs.
At the track its a hole differnt ball game than what a computer est is.
i hope that you run those times.

Z

2.1 60' is not a 12.7 second time-slip with your power/weight imo/ime.
