Yeah i agree keep an eye on oil temp...
imho if outside temp is 70 no way oil temp should reach 220 under normal driving........... |
Got the car back and it drives fine. The dealer scanned the car and got the code P0340-Camshaft position sensor. They told me that one of the fuse had blown in the sensor? Even though the repair was covered under the warranty, I still can't not help thinking why the sensor failed on a car with only 23k miles.
As far as the oil temp, I will continue monitor it tomorrow. |
glad you got it fixed...this isnt the first time i have heard of the camshaft postition sensor going out of a 370
|
Interesting problem. So glad you are back on the road.

another person on here posted that he had that problem along with the crankshaft position sensor? The car ran rough as hell, being that it was on a lease nissan offered to allow him to return the car (09model i think) and get a 2011 touring to end the lease with. Looked optimal, would definitely keep your eye out on that sensor again.
