I don't get how the company that designed this piece has no review or pictures of the mounts installed.

Are these something you can get separate? i.e. the engine or the tranny mounts only, or is it something you wanna upgrade both at the same time?

Secondly are these something that only work for MT's or would AT's benefit from these as well? Prolly the engine ones more than the tranny ones right??

it's something you can upgrade one by one, doesn't have to be both, and I'll ask about AT but I would assume the tranny mount is for MT only

That sucks... Anyone know of anyone with mounts for the g37?? (i tried the myg37.com forums too, but the 370z.com seems to be more into more the modding scheme a little more)

Any special price for me being the first G37 for the tran mount ??

Let me ask again and maybe they'll take more interest since I have more than one G37 interested

im fairly sure they're a pretty new company so they might not have the resources to do that

I really wanna get these mounts, they will be my next project after getting my headlights painted. How long of an install should this take...an hour?

truthfully idk, all cars vary on location of engine mounts, so it might be a breeze or it might take a long time

Do you think it will get in the way of my headers or if I decide to go with a gtm stg.1 S/C in the future?

I was quoted 4 hours of labor and the tech said it was somewhat involved. During 9 dyno runs tuning my GTM Stage 1 SC, I did not notice enough movement to require stiffer mounts. It was not worth the cost to me personally.

I doubt they'll get it in the way, they'll just replace oem engine mounts

KamiSpeed 08-26-2011 01:04 PM

transmission mount is only for Manual Transmission

and G37 owners, sorry but they still won't bet on it, they said its likely but they won't confirm it until they get their engineer testing it on a G37, but it does seem like they want to test it out on a G37 so I'll keep you guys updated

But the Engine mount is still usable for AT's right?

yes shouldn't make a difference for the engine mounts

Interesting -- but doesn't the Z have some pretty high tech and firm mounts?

From the spec sheet:

Side: 2 solid; rear: 1 liquid-filled; front: 1 electronically
controlled liquid-filled

I hear the same, but I guess these were intended for some major power or something like that

That is usually the primary, also the stock mounts are designed around the factory power level and probably a little over, but once you start throwing on 100whp or more the stock mounts might not work up to standard.

KamiSpeed, any chance they might give a solid discount or support for a first buyer (with boost) and provide a solid review? Buying the part is fairly cheap, but install on these will cost a bit more with getting them in.

I'll see what I can do, for now I got this image over from Drop

http://i146.photobucket.com/albums/r...p/IMG_7823.jpg

Drop using polyurethane pucks with a durometer rating of 75 giving you stiffer mounts and probably saving some weight too
