Grounding kit?

Was looking on stillen.com and came across a grounding kit. Claiming that you lose HP etc.

"Installing STILLEN's Grounding Kit ensures that sensors and computers are not affected by power surges that can drain performance. This ensures that all wire diameters are optimal for amperage and current travel distance. "

Could anyone explain to me in simple terms what it does and how it helps out the cars performace?

I've installed it, and I've speculated about it here: http://www.the370z.com/diy-section-d...nding-kit.html , but everything I say there is just speculation. Stillen or one of our other knowledgeable forum members might have something more definitive to say one way or the other.
