removing the stock intake resonators

Hello guys,
I'm trying to remove the stock intake resonators and can't locate them.
Where are they?
I just want to hear some different sound that's all :)
and possible drop in K&N filters a bit later on.
How hard is it?? is DIY possible?
Thanks :tiphat:

They attach to the stock intake tubes. Buy the HPS tubes and they will get rid of the resonators (about $100). You don't want to just take them off the stock tubes.

I don't know if the Z has those, but on the G35/G37, we have two large resonator boxes that attach to the air filter box itself. They are located under the air filter boxes so they will have to be removed if you wish to remove the resonators.

The z also has the same thing as the g37.

There is one attached to each air filter box and one attached to the drivers tube.
