Ummm....

Did you read the OPs first post?

"...when I try to start out is my clutch is stuck to the floor, NADA...won't come up...its out. Push the NEW (just got the plates) off the side of the road. Check out my clutch fluid..BONE F'N Dry...WTH?!?!?!

So i go and get some fluid form the local store and put it in ( I Know I need to bleed it, but I just wanted to see if/where the leak is.) pump the clutch and drips right out to the bottom."

clutch fluid leakage from the bellhousing, clutch getting stuckto the floor, engagement point sinking down to near the floor with very little clutch wear, common enough on several nissan models to piss people off but not enough for nissan to have a PR field day and have to do another recall like the did with the first revup and hr 350's

Ummm...do you know what a symptom is? Is there anything that would indicate a potential failure in the future? You know how a sore throat is the first sign (aka symptom) of a cold or flu? That's a symptom.

So I reiterate, is there a symptom that drivers can look out for that could indicate a possible clutch failure? The actual failure is not a symptom when it's already happened.

Edit: 1Slow370Z described it well. Thanks.

also when see the signs it may blow the next time you push the clutch, it may last another year.

Sorry for the late reply. They looked at it on Monday and said they would have it fixed that afternoon or noon the next day, dependonding on how fast they can get the part. I told them Tuesday would be good due to me working nights. Checked up late the next morning and they said they should have it ready by 3. They did. All in all Great experience with them at Connel. The clutch feals WAY better now, more smooth. I remember getting a slight clanking sound often when engaging the clutch and read on these forums somewhere that it was somewhat normal for Z's. Now no sounds and all and very very smooth. Only problem is now....(I don't know why or who did it, I KNOW IT WASN'T ME!!!) they loosened the gas cap and now getting the "Service Engine" light which the manual says "It SHOULD go off in a couple trips." Its been 3 days and more than a couple trips. Called them up and they said it averages out to about 20 "cold starts" to go off.

Oh , and I did ask them what or if there was anything I did to cause this. They said it's just a thing that happens and it's uncommon. Nothing I did.
