Oil cooler

I was just wondering what the benefits of getting an oil cooler are and if it would be beneficial. I know the damn oil temp. shoots up in summer to ridiculous numbers but is it all that bad? Any help is greatly appreciated. :icon17:

Oil + cooler = cooler oil temps (good for track purposes or the Mojave desert)

If you don't track you're vehicle, it's not necessary.

For simple daily driving, you should be fine w/out one, otherwise Nissan would've already recalled our vehicles by now.

FYI before you get some angry posts, there are a million threads regarding oil coolers. Use the search option and you'll find lots of information and opinions.

On the third day he rose up began to start a new thread, but then used his brain and the search feature. Give it a try, you might like it.

OK, now I get it after seeing another post. If I may...So, how about intakes-which is best? What are your thoughts on exhausts? What's the best way to break in the engine? When should I change my oil and what brand do y'all use? :roflpuke2:

Original poster, all this info has already been covered in great detail. Check the stickies in each section of "Forum Homes" and the most popular questions and answers are all there. Happy reading!
