more parts? perhaps on the body kit way but otherwise its the same if not more than the Z

GT-RR

also I am 100% sure there are turbo kits and other mods for a M5

Mjthind 02-14-2011 05:50 PM

well that was bros car any way it wasnt my car i just drove it to school and my dad bought for my brother because he had over 4.0 too see he just beein fair to me and him
my dad has multiple businesses and so he can afford to supply me bro with nice cars

NYBladeZ 02-14-2011 05:50 PM

Guys, lets take it easy on the kid for a second. I know a lot of us here look down on "rich kids" who don't have to pay anything or their cars but they exist and their love for cars is no different then ours. With that said, OP I find it amazing that you are working toward a 4.0 grade point average yet don't take the time to proofread and check your spelling, simple things like spelling "pat" or referring to GMT when it is GTM shows your ignorance for perfection, and trust me that attention to detail is what you need to get a 4.0.

Now, as mentioned before, an m5 is not a 370z. I've had the privilege of driving an m5 for an extended period of time and while it is fast, it is not a sports car. Taking a Z from the factory floor and building your own "white dragon" will be similar to trying to navigate a NASA rocket when you haven't even passed flight school. If you really want to pursue the idea, contact Sam at GTM directly, tell him what you're looking for and state that you have no budget limit, he'll tell you what options you may have.

I think you should enjoy it for what it is and bring it along slowly. I come from a pretty well to do background myself and frankly just because I can get it all doesn't mean I don't know my limits. Get the car, drive safely and grow with the car.

Mjthind 02-14-2011 05:53 PM

like i said a few posts earlier :
thats what im doin i am goin to drive it for a year look at the highs and lows and then do somthin to it

phelan 02-14-2011 05:59 PM

...then why is this even a point of discussion?

NYBladeZ 02-14-2011 05:59 PM

Kid, if I had to guess you're from South Asian descent because your grammar and spelling are absolutely horrible. If you want the forum members to take the time to seriously answer your questions, then take the time to write properly.

Mjthind 02-14-2011 06:05 PM

NYBladeZ how did you find out i am indian and oh ya i am currently at school so always in an hurry. I have over a 4.0 but it takes alot time to correct my essays. You probably know how hard it is to pass english 4 honors your in law school

Nitrouz 02-14-2011 06:07 PM

ever thought of twin turbonators? It's the new hybrid turbo setup that would produce more boost safely.

english 4 honors...what? wait...are you still in high school?

also - you still haven't clearly stated your objective with this car. nobody here thinks your 'experience' driving the M5 is a good basis for what you want for the Z. they're completely separate entities.

figure out what you want, then drive the car around, THEN maybe you'll have a better idea of what you want to do.

oh, and please don't treat money like it's no object. it's nice that you have the resources to build something cool if you wanted to, but at least show some appreciation for it.

Mjthind 02-14-2011 06:08 PM

yaa im still stuck with the m5 i have ordered the 370z it will arrive in may

Mjthind 02-14-2011 06:09 PM

i am usin it as a daily driver and track

Vegitto-kun 02-14-2011 06:12 PM

anybody want to start betting when he crashes the car?

Nitrouz 02-14-2011 06:14 PM

I've owned an '08 M5. I can kill myself easier in a stock 370z than the M5.

Mjthind 02-14-2011 06:14 PM

i have never crashed my bros m5 what makes you guys think i will crash my z when i get it

Vegitto-kun 02-14-2011 06:15 PM

I would still prefer a M5 above a Z though.

even though I hate beamers.

Mjthind 02-14-2011 06:18 PM

i respect money thats why my dad lets me use his

because comparing a M5 to a Z is pretty much impossible, the M5 is a heavy *** car. while the Z is a pretty light car which IS easier to lose controll over.

+ you wont be as careful with your own car.

I drive ******* careful when I take my parents's GT-R out for a drive while if im driving my Z I drive much more sporty.

24 replies out of 29 post? it smells funny

Mjthind 02-14-2011 06:30 PM

why?

NYBladeZ 02-14-2011 06:31 PM

OP, I think you should try to understand the community you're dealing with. We are all older, hard working gents from a variety of backgrounds. You're lackadaisical and lazy posts clog up a mature forum, STOP! I have the support of my family as well but you're damn sure that I respect the old man and look out for the generations after me. You don't respect money when you go around saying, money is not an issue. Hell, even for Dad money is an issue, ask him for 10-15 grand cash for a proper turbo setup and I'm sure he'll laugh.

I have a neighbor like you, when I was 20 I had a 2004 Mustang GT and my 18 year old neighbor had a brand new laguna seca m3 with all the options. Money wasn't an issue and he swore he was going to supercharge it tomorrow. When I got a ride, I couldn't believe his destructive driving style. Now the car is gone, and he's a loser who still rides daddy's coat tails where his dad always though he was supporting his kid to become his own man. Grow up kid, and if you can't or won't then at the very least quit with the "money ain't a thang" posts, you come off really immature.
