Fixed a Metallic Rattling Noise

Hey Guys,

Just thinking back on the HKS install a friend and i did last weekend, and i forgot that i didn't share this tidbit of information. My Z used to generate this metallic rattling noise when idling. I always suspected there was some loose heat shielding somewhere on the car, but i was never able to find it.

When we removed the stock CBE we started to play around with some the the heat shielding next to the cat, right next to the drive shaft. BINGO! One of the piece seemed to vibrate more then the rest. We simply bent it to add a ridged seam in the heat shield. This fixed the problem.

So now i have a better exhaust note and no annoying rattle.

So incase anyone out there hears this rattle as well, play with ALL the heat shields.
