Sounds like a job for the powertrain warranty...

Take it to the dealer and if they say it's nothing get a Osiris flash. Tune the tranny and smooth sailing. But Nissan should take care of you.

Make SURE the dealer checks the fluid properly!!! It is supposed to be checked with the fluid at 104*F and the car MUST be running. I always tell them to add a quart of fluid when they start and then adjust the level from there. Otherwise they will take out the plug and see fluid come out and assuse it was full. The problem is that the tube will fill up with fluid from driving around so that fluid will drain out regardless if it's low or not and the tech will think it's full when it could be low.
