i think your motor blowing up is a result of your improper mounting method. Personally for that sort of setup, i like to use bungee cords.

im just wondering if your serious??? please dont take this the wrong way but if your even asking "isnt that how everyone does it" you shouldnt be playing this card game.

Were exactly did you mount the bottle and why would you every run the lines through the door hinge?

and were did you mount the nozzles at

Its not a poor design. you just cut corners.

I must be one subtle mothafocka from anotha motha! :D

No, I did not actually mount a NOS tank on my hood with tiewraps nor did I run the lines from my interier though my door to the engine. I was attempting to parity why NOS has a bad rep....mainly do to people cheaping out on the supporting mods necessary to make it safe to run. Some just strap on a tank and go, often with disasterous results. Done correctly, the HP generated from NOS is every bit as safe as that from turbos or SC.

I think you will be safe with a 50-75 shot. Just make sure you have the car tuned properly with the right nozzles.

For those still interested in this subject. I installed the Zex NoS kit on my car with a 75 shot and runs great. If interested see my thread....
