Summer is coming- the hotter it gets outside the more you'll see these clutch threads pop up. Happened every year over on the 350z site.
In short- 0. If you're under warranty, take it to the dealer and let them figure it out. If you aren't or don't want to give it to those morons, 1. Check your fluid level. If it's fine, 2. Check your fluid color. It can range from light to a darker amber type of color depending on the fluid used. If it's black, flush it out. If it's fine, 3. Consider switching to a stainless steel clutch line and a DOT4 fluid such as Motul RBF600. If you've done that and are still experiencing problems, 4. Expect to change out the slave cylinder as it's broke. Enjoy. |
