First thought is: Seems like a tune would be required to really take advantage of the "extra" spark.
Second thought: If the engine is running lean due to bolt-ons what then? Third thought: Depends on how efficient the OEM process is to have this do anything.(?) Interesting though. Thanks :tup: |
We used them on the s2000... they are great for FI'd cars but you see very little gains on an NA car. Even on the FI cars you didnt see that much of a gain... It was more about consistency than anything else.

Not worth it. My buddy with a twin charged lotus making over 450 whp tried these out and picked up a mere 1-3 whp... and that small gain could be explained by dyno error anyway :icon14:
