Rule #1 if it isn't warranty related don't go to dealership for service. There are a few exceptions for good dealer service depts. but i prefer dyi.

Have you ever check the tire pressure after you picked up the car when you first buy the car? From the factory, the tire pressure is at around 42psi.

I would also check and make sure you don't have any missing bolts for the engine cover. …………..my stealership misplaced 3 when they changed my oil……….that was the last time I went.

I've had good luck with regular analog gauges but some people prefer digital readouts. Its all up to you, but IMO a standard Bell analog that they sell at Walmart/Target does the trick. You can always check it against the gauges they have at the gas station built into the air pump.

Grassroots Motorsports did a solid test on a cheap digital (like, 10-20 bucks), stick-style, an expensive digital, and an expensive analog (liquid-filled sweeping arm).

They found that even the cheap digital was better overall than both analogs, especially when temperatures vary widely.

Me? i use this one personally:

Has a nice, handy trigger for releasing pressure steadily and when you release it, it immediately checks the pressure again. Very nice!
