yup its normal, I too started a thread about this when I first got my car. you'll get to where you can drive it and hardly ever make it clunk again. when you're in first and going into second or even from first to neutral push the clutch in slowly...enjoy

this happens to me in first gear sometimes when I disengage the clutch - I find it only happens when the engine is revving down, not up, so the sudden back pressure release off the clutch during the engine brake is most likely making a sudden noise

BTW, guys, do u feel any different in shifting up while synchro is on and off?

If you had the synchro off, your accelerated more compare to had it on...someone start a thread mention that they can't chirp the tire due to this on...so yeah, there is a different...

thanx, cuz i felt the different in shifting while the S-mode is on and off. I felt the clutch more sensitive while it is off. and it sure is easy to drive while it is on. does any of you feel the same way? :yum:

I think he's confusing VDC and SRM. SRM has no affect on the clutch or rate of acceleration.
