This is how I know for sure and can guarantee that it is a 1/8" NPT.

Yes, side by side is the easiest way to tell, makes the thread taper much more apparent. +rep for doing your homework.

oilcoocler is back on with the heavy duty crimped lines running great havent broken 200 yet.

I was expecting that and was prepared for it. I was surprised it was a NPT thread.
