Stillen Super Charger Upgrade

Like maybe some of you i'm thinking about having the new Stillen Super Charger installed along with new clutch/flywheel. My only concern at this point is my warranty. With only 1k miles on the car i guess i would be totally voiding my warranty if something goes wrong with the engine/tranny. Any opinions?

Yes. Yes you would.

Absolutely. You might get away with some small bolt ons but no one in their right mind will do warranty engine work on an FI car.

I think Stillen has said that if you go with their basic kit, they will have an optional warranty available for purchase. They do on their other kits.

Only problem is that you better live next door to Stillen. Or will their warranty cover repair work done by their distributors throughout the country.

Also, remember that our powertrain warranties are 5 years, not 3. I kept thinking that after 3 years of ownership, I'll go hog wild with mods. Then I read the 5 year powertrain warranty and realized the motor is included in that.

Josh or Kyle, can you comment on any Stillen warranty with the SC kit as well as where the work must be done? That would be a huge selling point for me.

I bought my 350z system used and installed it myself, but IIRC, as long as you buy it and have it installed by an authorized reseller, you are covered wherever you are.
