Damn guys, all this discussion about low and high, and you got me confused... Was only trying to document my experance, will let you know how the next visit goes... No, it is not burning more than 1 qt. every thousand miles, it still runs fine.... What I meant to say was that from the time of the fill up (it being slightly overfilled), to the time it is now, on the dip stick, I still goes up 3/4 of the way. It is now below the H mark, but still within normal operating range. The service advisor stated to me not to add any oil, etc, however, if the engine was desperatly low on oil (like barely on the dipstick) to add some more after I give him a call. Thanks to all of you who have helped... I am not trying to whine, I am not trying to cry foul, I just wanted some answers to this question. Thanks to all that responded.

so drive the car 4,000 miles add a quart and let the dealer change the oil at 7,500 and repeat.. 1/4 of a quart per thousand isnt much. and will most likely go away anyway.. My car burned some oil before the first oil change after that it hasnt burned a drop. Your car burns so little maybe it will work itself out after your next oil change.
