Ticking noise!!!!

Hey everyone. So my ‘13 370Z with 42k miles, is now ticking. I haven’t driven it nor started it since February. I finally got it started last week after a hard hesitation to turn it over, and it began ticking pretty loud (loud to me at least). Did the oil change this past Saturday and started it. Ticking was there, got it up to operating temperature and at 140 oil temp, still ticking. Revved it slightly and it began to tick faster/louder. Once it got to 180 oil temp, it completely went away. Revved it to 4K and it sounded beautiful. Oil level is where it should be. Didn’t drive it, let it sit overnight and started it the night after and it began ticking but this time, not as violent sounding. Got it up to 180 oil temp again and disappeared. Do I have a bad lifter? Any input here? I have no Check Engine Light or Codes. Please help! Losing my mind.

Leprechaun tapping a wrench on metal while you start the car

Sounds like you have a piston that's slapping around. You should get a bore scope and inspect each cylinder for wear. From my experience, rod knock is always constant.

Or you could also take off your valve covers and inspect the valve train for issues.
