Yup. They're hoses. They hold things and don't leak. Also, be sure to replace your shifter bolt linkage.

There has been some documented info on Silicone hoses permeating.
I've seen this with many brands of silicone composed hoses and specific Nissan blue silicone.

You get those white phantom spots all over your cooling hoses that dry up almost instantly, can usually be wiped and dont really hurt anything other than looks overall.

Expect to have to re tighten your hose clamps over the next 6k miles while they set and they dont like to be disconnected/connected a much as rubber.

I have a cheap set of chinesium Upper/Lower and have never had any issues.

I'd suggest you delete the TB coolant passages (one less system to fail)

Make sure you get the heater adapter (these crap out over time)

i've seen videos of these hoses bubbling as well.

Please explain the above two, always learning at my old age. :)

There are some hoses that run coolant through the throttle bodies. The purpose behind these hoses are to keep the butterfly valves from freezing in cold weather. But in hot weather and hard driving, that coolant is hot and heating up the throttle bodies thereby increasing IATs. I removed mine years ago since TX heat.

Not sure what he means by heater adapter. I did have to replace a plastic coupling in one of the heater hoses. Got a metal one to replace it.

Meant coupler and not adapter on my end.
Since the silicone needs far more clamping force it might destroy a weak factory coupler.

Just got a Red set of the Z1 hoses. They sure look great and super high quality as well. Got the heater hose bleeder and clamps as they say you need it to eliminate air in the system. Bought new Nissan long life coolant from them and nissan power steering fluid. They had great communication and a really good price with Fed Ex shipping to Canada in about 1 week. Best part is I didn't pay any taxes, duties or brokerage fees for my order this time which would have been approx. $145.00 CAD!!! Sometimes life really is good!!

To prevent having to do a full evacuation and bleed of the PS system, simply empty the reservoir at every oil change and refill with fresh fluid.

I got a set of the black ones from Z1 and did all of them but the heater hoses since those were a pain to reach. I'll change them one of these days.
