Clicking Clutch Pedal

About 1,500 miles ago I had the local stealership install the whole ZSpeed Premium EZ-V Street Stage 2 High Performance Quiet Clutch Flywheel Kit + CMAK CSC Delete and Master Cylinder after the OEM slave failed.

After a few minor tweaks early on to the engagement point on the master cylinder, the clutch has been working fine.

However, just recently a clicking sound has developed when the pedal is depressed. The click is heard at the beginning of the engagement point and only on the way down. I can also feel a slight vibration in the pedal when it clicks. The clutch still works fine, no problems with driving the car.

The only thing I have done is lubricate some of the moving parts with white lithium grease spray, with no luck.

I found this short video that replicates what I am hearing:

Any tips on what might be happening would be appreciated.

I'd start by taking off the clutch pedal and inspecting the pedal for issues. Manual actuate it by hand and see if you can replicate the noise.

Thanks for the suggestion. I might do that, but before having to remove the pedal I am hoping there is an easier solution suggested from someone that has had the same problem.

It's the spring that is clicking. I had the same issue and just removed the spring completely. Better solution is to replace the OEM pedal with the RJM clutch pedal assembly.

Thank you for the reply. I thought it might be that spring, so I had sprayed it with the white lithium grease, but I could do a more thorough job, especially on the back side.

Curious if you ever narrowed down where the click comes from - the spring itself, or the joints where it pivots.........and why it clicks (wear at the joints, or?)?
