Just take it easy on 5th gear if you can. You probably don't need to be slamming into 5th anyway. But yeah budget for a replacement while they're still around. Check out Liberty Gears if you want to build it (and spend $$$ lol).
Mine has done it since about 20K miles. I demonstrated it to the dealer and they wouldn't warranty it. |

Slept on this last night....
so the decision is to wait till the end of the track season to replace it. reasons: -- Road Atlanta only track I do that needs 5th. all others are 4th.
