Steering Lock Issue on 2015 370Z? [Australia]
 

My Z has what seems to be an electronic steering lock (that whirrs and releases the wheel every time I start) and it started to sound a little.. sluggish on startup. So I pulled the fuse.

But I keep reading that the problem shouldn't exist in a 2015 MY car and/or there simply isn't a module to fail.

Have I got it wrong, or was the module still fitted in the Australian market? If not, then why does it act like it has one?

No idea in Australia, but in the US they stopped putting them in the cars in 2012.

So is there any lock now? Do you hear a lock engage/disengage when you start and stop the engine?
