blown engine

Earlier this year while running on the track, the engine started to knock heavily. After finishing up my garage setup with proper lift, finally pulled the pan and found bunch of metal pieces. Could anybody confirm this would be a bearing? I'm getting used long block from 2017 with 15k miles this weekend and contemplating how deep should I go with my build. I'm running GTM supercharger stage 1.5 with 513whp and 387whtq. Gonna be basically full track car from now on. All the work would be done myself unless I need machined parts.

Scenario 1:
Boundary engineering oil pump gears with their cover(not sure which shim spec should I go with)
New water pump, upgraded Oil gallery gaskets new seals etc.
Race fuel tune or E85 and see how it holds up as I think the culprit is most likely oil gallery gaskets failure but wont know for sure until I tear the engine down. Running on uprev so leaning towards race fuel since E85 is not supported.

Scenario 2
All the above, tear down of "new" long block, inspect crankshaft and block for any damage. If good, clean up the block and upgrade to race main and rod bearings, stock bore and 11.1 CR wiseco pistons with K1 or brian crower connecting rods. Most likely stick with stock OEM hardware for bolts and head gaskets.

Would it be a bad idea go with the 2nd option without grinding/polishing the crank and doing extensive engine block machine work? Maybe just bare minimum to clean and inspect the block.

Dude, that oil is dark.

Was it running hot?

I think the second option makes sense to me.

Oil was changed right before track day. Its redline oil which already comes darker tint compared to other ones. From my water and oil temp gauges it wasn't running hot. 30k miles boosted and about 20 track days total. Its 2011 so still not even upgraded oil gallery gaskets. Oil pressure seemed ok.

Just pulled my 2010 apart, oil galley gaskets were fine.

Bought the new gasket/bolt kit just in case.

Got the long block set up in engine stand. Will be doing leak down test before I tear it down

Tore down my spare block. It does look good. Crank journals look shiny and no sign of wear. The cylinder walls no sign of wear as well. I think I should be good going with 95.5mm pistons

Your going this far why not re tune on ecutek and e85/flex fuel tune? Your boosted and doing track events so e85 makes the most and safest sense.

the biggest problem around here is that its hard to get e85. Closest pump to me is 40mins away. The track i go to the most has race fuel on site which makes it more convenient otherwise I would have to haul extra 25-30gal of e85 to every track event.
