Obviously this latest uoa is one of a series-so double welp OUCH.

It is still the same car. That was my point.

If one person sees these results it is just one person and one engine. You don't make a generalizing conclusion on a sample size of one. :V

yea based on the chart, you may want to switch to , Redline, Amsoil, Mobil 1 EP, Castrol Syntec Edge. Haha give you something to think about

Great idea!!-you must be doing uoa's since you seem to be so confident of your position-please post your uoa for comparison.

it would be cool/interesting to compile a bunch of uoa data so everyone can gauge the wear our motors are subject to over the broad spectrum rather than one car here and there!

Great idea! Did you just volunteer yourself to get that setup?

I too would like to see a long range test with different cars and oils

This is the only way we can be sure of what we are looking at. I think it would be extremely helpful to try and pinpoint if we are looking at all 370Z engines, just this one or just ones with Nissan ester or does one group of oil show much better results. We can debate all we want but until we see numerous vehicles with different oils we will not have any pattern. I would hope that several folks do enough oil analysis to arrive at meaningful data.
