FI TDX exhaust v1 Nismo vs Non-Nismo
 

Anyone have specific information on the difference between the Fast Intentions TDX for 09-14 Nismo vs Non-Nismo? Tip size, length from muffler to tip, etc...?

Using the search tool, I have been getting mixed information. Some say the 09-14 Nismo's TDX is the same length and it is the 2015+ Nismo that was extended for the bumper.

I called up FI and I got a general answer that there are differences between certain models and need to select it in the drop down menu.

I have an 09 Touring (non NISMO) and I had an 09 OEM NISMO CBE on my car for years before switching to the FI TDX. So they are obviously interchangeable on early models. I'm guessing you're correct in saying the current NISMO system is a bit longer due to the updated bumper.

My understanding is the Nismo V1 FI exhaust is slightly longer than non Nismo. The rear bumper of Nismo is slightly larger and even more so for the Nismo V2.

I have heard from some that when running a non Nismo exhaust on a Nismo they burned the bumper because the pipes do not extend far enough.

Thanks for the info. I did end up installing the non-nismo FI TDX on my 14 nismo. Of course, bolting it up was easy and no issues. The exhaust tips are not touching the bumper like my AAM 5" short tails were. But... I feel like the tips should come out another inch ? I bought 1/2 thick 3 bolt flanges I will install and see if it helps. I'll report back.

Thanks for the pic! Super helpful. Comparing that to the pic FI has on their website for the non-nismo setup puts the 09-14 Nismo 1-1.5" longer.
