Oil temperature gauge not working

Hello there, long story... Trying to chat with those who have had issues with this gauge.

Here's what I've gathered:
Clock is working (communicating with ECM)
Voltage is working
Illumination is working
Uprev reads correct oil temp
Engine temp got up to operating temp
Tripple meter sweeps upon ignition
Oil temp stayed at 140

I confirmed that the oil temp sender is working through Uprev however didnt have much time to fully diagnose. I understand that oil takes longer to heat up than coolant.

When I hooked up the laptop for the first time it was at 120F, this time I had laptop issues so I could not confirm that it ever got to 140F but coolant was close to over heating (waiting for fans) which in my opinion should have made that needle move?

I'll report back once I get the laptop running and wire up the fans.

Thank you in advance:hello:
