TC

Very simple question

Sometimes id be spinning out to the point where Im almost drifting... and the TC doesnt kick in... or at the very least it doesnt flash on the screen... and I don't feel it kicking in.

I always drive with it on.

Other times it comes in and it limits power very well

Today at a hill climb i pressed the accelerator and it started spinning... it didjt move and the rear end turned around 5-10 degrees... but the TC shined for its absence

Normal?

VDC takes in the speed for each tire, plus steering wheel angle. If the speed is greater on the rear tires then the front by a set amount. Then the VDC kicks in.

Now if the VDC sees wheel speed greater, plus steering wheel angle and yaw sensor. It will apply a rear brake caliper to straighten the car out. Normally pointing you in the wrong direction. This happens a lot on the track if you don't turn off the VDC. A lot of track rats have disabled the Yaw sensor with a off/on switch.
