Motordyne M370 Intake Plenum Supporting Mods

Looking at installing a M370 Plenum (or modded HR) for mid range torque gains on a street driven car. I'm ok with the marginal peak HP loss.

Is it worthwhile to port the M370 (HR) or OE lower plenum for additional effect or will that hurt the mid range power I'm looking to boost?

Will porting either the upper (M370) or lower plenum gain back some of the peak HP loss?

From what I've searched I can only find total gain numbers from a ported upper , lower and exhaust components as a whole. Was looking for incremental gain just from porting the upper and just from porting the lower to see if either is cost effective.

Thanks for any experience you can lend! :tiphat:

I don't have separate dyno for just upper and just lower but i have one for both. I saw gains of about 20whp mid range and about 10whp at peak. This was with a retune also.

Good deal. Wound up with a ported HR upper and ported VHR lower. I'll post results after install but will be combining with FI RFHC's so unfortunately the numbers won't be just intake upgrades alone.
