Exhaust Question.

Will this muffler give me a slightly better tone at idle and create no drone. I have a 2010 Roadster and I don't want a loud exhaust. The top will be down most of the time. I have a Jeep with a Hemi and a Corsa exhaust so I get my jollies off that. Just looking for a little bit of deep rumble while it's idling and at throttling. I can sort of hear it now but just looking for a little bit more, but noticeable.
Nismo 370z HKS Muffler Will this bolt right on?

I ran a NISMO OEM Cat-back on my base 370 for a few years. I had the entire system though. The NISMO exhaust has a little more growl, which is slightly noticable at start up and under WOT. It has no drone and really isn't noticable under normal driving conditions. The entire system breathes a little more freely then the base exhaust. Because if which, Nissan claims it is responsible for half of the additional HP the NISMO produces (approx. 8hp). I don't know how much of a difference this will make without the rest of the CBE though.

Will the Nismo catback bolt right on with no modifications?

Its bolt on. No mods needed.

It will bolt bolt up to a standard OEM exhaust with no modification. But in my honest opinion, it is no louder than the standard muffler as far as sound is concerned. Actually, I found the stock Nismo exhaust is quieter overall than the standard which is idiotic on Nissan’s part. Found this out when comparing my 2016 Nismo with my friend’s 2010 regular Z with no mods. He also agreed his was slightly louder. Weird!!!!

But, it is a straight-through design which may give you a few ponies.

I agree with that. When I was looking for a CBE I went to the dealer and drove a new Nismo. I couldn't tell the difference in sound volume between my car and the Nismo. I wound up getting the R-Tune. It is louder than stock and much nicer sounding. A true dual exhaust.

Well I guess I'll stay stock. I don't want an aftermarket one because I think it will be to loud in my vert.

Megan Racing Axle back is your friend. Zero modification needed to install. Zero drone and not obnoxiously loud. I guarantee you'll be happy with it.

Nismo tips are also longer then non-Nismo tips.

And also look nicer, although that is subjective.
