Camshaft position sensor bad?

My car would not start. I was able to jump start it but the Service Engine Soon light and traction control light were on......The car would buckle at 3500 RPM in every gear. I went to AutoZone and got the codes . P0340, P0345 (Camshaft bank 1 and 2)....also got P0335 ( crankshaft position sensor A circuit).........Would bad camshaft sensors cause the crankshaft error possibly? I have had the crankshaft position sensor go bad and the car quit running while driving and would not start back... so thinking it is the camshaft ones that are bad?

The camshaft ones are easy to replace so I am going to replace them myself and hope it fixes the issue.

Do you have ecutek? You can check the camshaft position sensor voltage and compare it with FSM

No, I sure don't.

Once I replace these today....will the "Service Engine Soon" light go off if that was the problem? Or do I need to reset it?

I replaced them camshaft position sensors...did not fix the problem.....thinking it may be related to the timing chain? Car just hit 100,000 miles.

I got it fixed. The cam shaft position sensors replaced corrected one of the problems.... But apparently the battery had low voltage even though I just bought it in 2018.....I had to pay a small fee as it was under warranty. ....Guess the battery is covered in full for 1st year and then pro rated every year after.

My car sounds like its doing the same thing yet no codes. After my foot hits like slightly around 1/4 throttle after 3k rpms the car like studders/bucks and doesnt go anywhere. Were these your symptoms?

I'm having this issue! Was on track today and in two sessions I spun because adding light throttle around 3500rpm caused the car to surge and then cut power. It didn't help I was running my slicks on a cold track because I didn't have time to get my wets on :(.

A race mechanic i know mentioned trying the camshaft sensors first. That's what I plan to do this winter, but won't be able to get the car on track until the season starts next year. :(.

Has anyone else found a definite solution??
