370 automatic transmission issue

How’s it going everyone. Yesterday I started hearing a noise from underneath my Z it sounded like a grinding noise and honestly I thought it was my exhaust since its broken in the past but had it rewelded. I got off my car and looked under and saw the exhaust was still intact, I started noticing as I accelerated the grinding noise would go away and as I slowed down it would appear again. I Do have an extended warranty on my Z, my question is since it’s modded I do have a tune, test pipes, exhaust, and stillen cai would they give me a hard time about not wanting to cover the transmission? Due to the mods? Would you guys recommend me removing them and the tune? Has anyone gone through this or had a similar situation? I want to make sure before I take it to the dealership to get it fixed I want to avoid any problems!

Best bet is to find a dealer that is mod friendly - Fontana is generally a mod friendly dealer IINM. But you should know the dealer can't deny warranty work due to parts that are unrelated to the issue. Don't take no for an answer and get Nissan Corporate involved if you have to.
