Engine oil temps too low with 34 row setrab oil cooler?
I obtained and installed the CZP 34 row oil cooler kit and it has done an amazing job of bringing down the oil temps on my 370z, maybe too good. It used to run on average around 220-230, up to 240 when I have pushed it some. After installing this oil cooler, I have not seen it get past 205-210 degree range and during general driving it has been averaging 185-190. Is this too low? Granted it is Texas and it is only in the 80s right now, but will quickly get to the 100s and then I might be happy about the temps. Thoughts?

185+ is fine. Anything lower then that for extended time is bad. If it goes lower, I would recommend a thermostatic oil sandwhich plate.

That's fine. Get a therm plate or fab a blockoff plate for the cooler if it gets lower.

I have a Setrab 25 row with 6 rows blocked off and a Termo plate and will still barely sniff 180* in FL summer. Probably blocking off 2 more rows. Comparing apples to apples same highway temps as you pre-cooler install and post cooler install.

Don't worry about it, especially for part-throttle applications. You just don't want the temperature going past 230 as you start to lose power and past 260+ as it starts to damage the oil. When I still had my Z, I seriously considered adding a 2nd 34-row cooler.
