Tuning 101
I have an uprev tuner cable and eventually would like to begin to experiment with it. I've done some reading about the different tables that the uprev ROM editor offers, and I feel like I have a good enough understanding of what they do.
My question is how to measure "success". When your car is on a dyno it's easy enough to do a pull and see what gains (or losses?) your changes made. I'm more curious about the remote tuners that are looking through data logs. What parameters are they looking at to let them know that they're on the right track and making gains? |
I can show you my tuning process with Uprev/Ecutek if you'd like! pretty close to you.

I'll take you up on that. I'm pretty sure you are the one who let me borrow the gtr radiator cap?

Correct, I just tuned a few local cars on Uprev yesterday. It's pretty hard to start but once you figure out the basics you can start tinkering without damaging anything. Here's a great video to watch: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O31Sa_7dyA0
