Gallery Gasket Replacament.

Hey so I currently have an 2009 370z with 87k miles. I just recently installed an oil pressure gauge to make sure that my oil pressure was good. Installed it about a week ago now, at first my pressure at idle at a little over 180 temperature it was idling at 18-20psi. Today i was driving home(it was hot af out today, NY weather) and i was stopped at a light and it was idling from 15-16psi with a hotter temperature. I know nissan rated the HR/VHR motors for anything over 14psi you should be solid. The first thing i'm going to do tomorrow is go over the car and make sure there isn’t any oil leaks (just installed a mishimoto sandwich plate adapter so i can wire rhe gauge up.) Now if that isn’t the case i’m going to go about swapping the gallery gasket. Everything for me should be relatively easy, (taking front end off, radiator, condenser, timing cover, and chain off) My only worry is putting the chain back on in the right spot. Now is there any advice anyone here could give me? As to putting the chain back together with the guides and whatnot? Is it the same concept as doing a serpentine belt? Using a pulley to put the chain back in the correct position to where the marks line up? Also what are the proper torque specs for the upper and lower gaskets? One more thing, is there anything else that I would need besides just the gasket and some sealant? Im going with the upgraded EPS Tuning gaskets considering its only $60. Any help would be appreciated.

There is at least one DIY on this site that talks about getting the chain back in correctly. Don't remember if it was a galley gasket replacement DIY or not. Torque specs and much more can be found in the FSM (link in sig).

Your best bet is to crank the pulley to get the chain to line back with the factory markings. Note that it has to line up with all of them or else you need to mark them to make sure you get it back in the same position. There is good info in the DIY on this.

Good move on the EPS kit. It's the only one I haven't heard of people having issues with.

Coincidentally, I just put up a Gallery Gasket How To on my Youtube Channel a few Hours ago, as I have just done this very task as part of my Build.
I have all of the Part Numbers & Torque specs listed in it.
You may find it of some help.

There are a bunch of other gaskets that are intended to be one-time use only. I picked up a kit from Concept Z for the front timing cover for like $80.

While the gallery gaskets are being done, I have a variety of parts to go in; some are upgrades and some are preventative maintenance as I've got a 100K miles on the car. New parts to go in include a new water pump, power steering pump, ATI Super Damper, SuckerPunch oil pump gears, CJM baffled oil pan, and CJM engine mounts.

You used the [YOUTUBE] tag incorrectly. Don't put the whole link inside the tags - only the video code at the end of the URL is used (everything after the last / character or = sign: VGELpOC0Jbs). You can quote my post to see how I did it.
