Clutch issues, need recommendations

Hi Members,

Having clutch issues (play in clutch pedal and grinding gears) and from what I researched the diagnosis tells me I need CMC and/or CSC replacement. Some background, I installed the RJM Performance clutch pedal years ago and I read that this clutch pedal “COULD” benefit from heavy duty parts.

Anyhow, I’m looking to replace these parts with heavy duty parts like the ZSpeed or RJM CMC. What do you all recommend?

Also, while having the work done, I want to have my clutch and flywheel replaced with a kit/combo that can handle a turbo system down the road.

Any help or recommendations would be much appreciated. Thanks!:tiphat:

ZSpeed all the way. Don't know? Ask Joe! He can answer all your questions and get you a great deal on the clutch you need

Personally, I purchased his stage 3 clutch kit with CMAK and lightweight flywheel.

I agree with Jarblue. In terms of the CMC, ask Ryan at RJM. I went with the customized Tilton HD CMC that Ryan introduced last year. I understand that he has come out with a 2nd generation version that is compatible with the earlier versions of the RJM clutch pedal assembly.

Agree with all of the above. For the CMC get the Tilton based RJM kit. Just make sure it is adjusted correctly so you don't have side forces on the cylinder bore and seals. For the CSC call Joe as ZSpeed and get his CMAK. For the clutch and flywheel, just tell Joe what your use case is and he'll tell you what you need.
