6mt problems
 

1st-4th is all I got. The transmission can Upshift and downshift perfectly fine if I stay in gears 1-4.No problems at all. 5th and 6th is where the problems begin. 5th gear sometimes works, but if i come off the throttle it tends to slip out of gear. 6th gear feels like it is gone no engagement no feeling nothing. Just feels like an empty space. Anybody have an idea of what could be wrong?

Synchros?

Do they make a rebuild kit? or am i better off sourcing another tranny?

Almost sounds like a bent selector rod bit could be synchros time to rebuild the box.

Does anyone know which upgraded mustang syncros would work for our trannys?
