Time For New Clutch

Need my clutch replaced, any recommendations? Car is full bolt on, 99% street 1% track. Looking to upgrade for performance.

Go with one of the Zspeed performance packages. If you don't already have the CMAK, and are planning to stay NA, this is a good one:

One thing to keep in mind - Under no circumstances should you let anyone talk you into a Spec clutch.

It gets rid of your POS CSC so you dont have to worry ab it failing. ZSpeed has very nice packages that include clutch flywheel and CMAK for about a grand.

Clutch Movement Alteration Kit. It moves your concentric slave cylinder (OEM is plastic and prone to failure) outside of the transmission bell housing, and replaces it with a better version, so in the unlikely event of failure it's now a very quick and cheap replacement process.

Do the RJM adjustable pedal while you're at it

Would something like a stage 2 clutch and dual mass fly wheel be a good option or no? I want a clutch that can handle some abuse

Call Joe at Zspeed. I am sure he can answer all of your questions.

Carbon 07-19-2019 11:01 PM

Would I be able to find him here and send him a pm?

OptionZero 07-20-2019 04:35 AM

it's best to speak in person if you really wanna get answers

but South Bend DxD lightweight flywheel + stage 2 cluch and quiet disc option, Zspeed HD clutch slave replacement, with an RJM pedal . . . works great for me
