Loud rattling noise when turning on AC

Good afternoon everyone,

I am the original owner of a 2009 370z. Never had really any issues with the car until about a week ago. Lately the car has made a weird rattling noise while in park and in drive. It usually makes a noise while slowly giving the gas until about 1k-1.5k rpm's then it goes away. As I did my research, i was thinking that my flex plate was going bad. The thing that doesn't make sense to me is that the rattling noise gets really loud once I turn on the AC. Im gonna take it to the mechanic at the end of this week but was wondering if anybody else had this issue?

Thanks

I'm thinking its the blower motor in the AC compartment. Anyone else have issues with this?

might be a loose heat shield from exhaust system?

Not meaning to come off as a smarta$$ or anythign here, but its pretty dificult to help you without hearing the sound or isolating exactly where its coming from etc.... Is there any way you can post a video clip or something to give us a better idea of where its coming from and exactly what it sounds like. a ratle could be anuthing from a loose bolt to a serious structural issue.

Try putting a quick video on youtube and linking it here for us to check out if thast easyer for you.

Didn't some 370Zs have a problem with duct sealant coming loose and rattling around? Or did I dream that?

Update; Clamped on heat shield with stainless steel hose clamps and the sound completely went away. Thanks for the help!
