TWM Performance Concern?

Has anybody bought anything or had dealings with them recently?

The reason I ask is that I purchased a short shifter from them on 4/25/18 and I have heard/seen nothing from them since. I have tried messaging via e-mail, online chat, and facebook messenger with no response. I have also tried calling and it goes straight to voicemail.

The payment cleared my credit card on 4/25 as well. I did pay through Paypal via the TWM website.

I'm worried they went out of business or something and thought someone on here might know more about them and/or their situation. Any help/feedback is appreciated.

Thank you!

Crap just saw all of this on their Facebook page. I'm shocked since most of what I have read here on the forums has been very positive about their products and don't recall seeing anything about their customer service.

That sucks to hear about them. When I bought my short shifter about a year ago they responded to my emails promptly and shipped right away. I just tried to call them and it went right to voicemail also. I wonder what their issue is?

Yea I'm really disappointed, and it doesn't look or sound good. Looks like I am going to have to file a claim via Paypal to try and recoup some of the funds unfortunately.

You should be able to get all your money back through Paypal, not that does you any good as far as getting your shifter.

Yea I created a Claim against them today via Paypal. We will see what happens.

Disappointing to say the least.

I have had dealings with TWM Performance they are reputable and have great customer service and should still be in business. I am surprised you were never were contacted by them. Trying to get in contact with anyone by email or online is one of the worst forms of communication you should try to call them and see if they contact you before you go any further. Either way if TWM Performance did go out of business you lost whatever funds you sent them.

I bought a knob from them and it was nicely packed when it arrived. The product looked great. They are poor communicators and very sloppy. I ordered without any shift pattern and it arrived with a 6spd shift pattern. Not what I ordered but figured I'd keep it and not have to hassle of returning or exchanging. Good luck with your situation. I would wait. Mine took 2 weeks to arrive.

No offense but I feel every point you tried to make in your post is inaccurate. About communicating, I state very clearly in my OP that I have tried calling and it goes straight to voicemail. Verified by another member who states he tried calling them and it went straight to voicemail as well.

About losing my funds I sent them, I also state I paid through PayPal. I have already filed a claim against TWM and if they don’t respond in 1-2 weeks I will receive a full refund on my credit card.

I can’t say for sure but it appears you are blindly defending a poorly run business, if it even is a business anymore. I have not bashed TWM in anyway on here. Was simply asking others if they knew what was going on with them.

You should be a little more diligent before posting IMO. It was as if you didn’t read any of the post that already been made.

You should do your research on a vendor before choicing to do business with them. Either way you fell for it hook line and sinker blame yourself for your own misfortune.

Um dude? Which side of the fence are you on here? First TWM is awesome, and then it's the OPs fault he didn't do his research?

Again, in my second post, I state that I researched here on the forum and read nothing but positive reviews about TWM?

You're digging your hole deeper and your rationale makes absolutely no sense.

Right, dude is making zero sense right now?

Quick update. PayPal ruled in my favor against TWM and recouped all of my funds. Never once did they communicate back to me or PayPal. The sketchiest part of all is that they are still actively posting on Facebook about Father's Day specials etc. I also noticed that they are removing any posts that the public makes regarding their poor performance in the marketplace. They seem to have a long list of unhappy customers, and it's only a matter of time before the business implodes.
