I've got $5 that says it's the cats. DIGItonium had the same symptoms forever, and it was the cats.

I fried my crank sensor and the car would not start at all. What are your afr's doing? It could be a bad injector. What tunning package do you have? If you have ecutek you can check to see if it is an injector by disabling each cylinder in sequence. You disable cylinder 1 and it should run like it is on 5 cylinders, then enable 1 and disable 2 and so on. If you disable a cylinder and there is no change in the way the motor is running then that is your bad cylinder or injector. This also happened to me and the car ran as you have described.

Yes, both were easy to resolve once the issue was diagnosed. The crank and throttle sensors were replaced and heat shielded. I never had an issue after that. The other was a bad injector so it was replaced. Another issue I experienced was the fuel filter being clogged with junk.
