I will dig through my HD and see if I can find any.
|
Snake,
I couldn't find any of my old photos, but you can always check out stealth nitrous installs at my three fiddy . com They should have plenty of install pics that will help you out. I know I had to get some longer steel braided lines to get my setup the way I wanted it. |
Thanks. I'll check it out when i get home, im about to run out and take a look at the Racer Tuners Kit that comes with a bottle heater, purge kit, blow down kit and a presure gauge.
Thats one thing i need to figure out is what size lines ill need. Of course ill get those when i figure out where im putting this damn box. When i do that i have to call Zex up and see if they have any of the Blackout edition to match the main kit. |
Just a little update. Went to the store and picked up a few more goodies. Racer Tuners Kit + Window Switch. Now i just need the fittings/hoses to run the 2nd line and im all set.

Looking good, you may have to run +1 degree colder plugs too.
|
I talked to one of the vendors on the site, he is trying to get me a set of Zex 1 Step Colder plugs for the 370z. None of the shops have them around here, i went to 3 NAPA stores and they didnt even have them.
|
I used NKG's, I didn't use the Zex plugs becuase they were a shorter plug. Didn't want the heat to get to my exposed threads and melt them, due to being an aluminum block.
|
Well the vendor said they have NGK as well. Ill give them a call in the morning and see whats up.
|
make sure you get the right plugs as they are different from a 350z and places tend to get lazy and just give you those.

Well small update. Got bored tonight so i decided to do a couple more parts in the cold. I plan on getting into a garage next week to get the kit fully installed. Anyways i got the fogger in the first intake and the lines to the fogger with the jets in it for a 50shot. Also installed the activation button for the purge kit.

[QUOTE=Snakes709;338487]Personally i hate the switch, i would rather have it in the center console glove box (where the nav would be) but that is where my window switch box is going. So the fake switch between the heated seats button will have to do. Thanks for the comment.
Hey Snakes! That looks to me like there is a LAV Coyote in Recce missing a switch on the CDA....:icon17: |

:tiphat: Sure.... give me the CFR and I will have someone take a look at it! I have boxes of switches somewhere! I am interested to see the Nitrous setup. Not too keen on doing that to my wife's car though!

757...but u wont find it because its already in vancouver for the olympics  Well soon as the autoshop opens back up on the base on the 11th, im going in with my friend to get everything hooked up. I'll be in vancouver though when the last set of parts come in to run the lines to the 2nd intake. But i need to get everything mounted so i can find out what size hoses i need. Still having issues finding a spot for the NMU. I'm excited as hell to find out what this is going to feel like in March when i come back. I'm also excited to see what the car will sound like when i order (in the summer) header, hfc and catback exhaust.
BTW i would like to see some pics of your or your wifes car....black rose looks like a nice color. |

I will let you know when I am bringing it to work. Other wise my local is 3176, Cpl Lewis. Have a good time at the Oympics! :rofl2: |
Shush you!...lol. Oh well, being at the olympics means i wont spend any money while im gone. I need a new exhaust for my ZX6R since i wanna get it tuned and the fact i broke the servo motor..lol. And then when i come back, install the second nitrous line, drive up to red deer and get a tune :D Then May 7th is the first track night at castrol....although my girlfriend wants to go to the Our Lady Peace concert....i like them but they r playing on the 8th as well...but oh well.

Slowly but surely the kit is coming together. Been busy as hell lately trying to get ready for my deployment with the army...leaving in a few days. Anyways today i finally got the Nitrous Management Unit in (didnt take a picture of it, will tomorrow) But its right next to the battery compartment. I had to take the strut bar and intake to get it in but its a good spot for it, right next to the fuel line, battery and will allow me to run the lines the way i want. Tried to get the purge in but i had to call it a day. I also got the TC Window Switch and bottle heater switch in and wires ran, just have to get the wired together with everything. Anyways heres a few pictures.

For future reference there is a company that makes a twin nozzle kit for 370z's. FYI
Nissan 350Z & Infinity G35/G37 wet Nitrous Oxide Sysetm for Nissan 350Z & Infinity G35/G37. . Nissan 350Z & Infinity G35/G37 nitrous systems avaiable with diffrent jetting levels. - Nissan 350Z & Infinity G35/G37 Nitrous Wet system Probably could have saved yourself 3 to 400 bucks. :) |
Its only 250 bucks for the extra lines, fittings and fogger...no biggy. I saved a few hundred so far with discounts and such.

Just a little update on things. I'm still deployed with the army but i got 3 weeks left. I talked to the shop that will be tuning the car. It's going to cost me $700 total. That includes approx 2.5hours of tuning and him installing their wideband and a o2 bung. They dont like using the sniffer since its not really accurate. I'm scheduled to get my tuning done April 1st at 9am...so that evening ill have dyno results, videos and pictures. I was going to order the parts next pay but im putting a down deposit on a nismo body kit since i have quite abit of cosmetic damage right now. The following pay ill be getting 1 step colder plugs and the rest of the fittings for the second intake hookup.
Also before i left i couldnt pass up a deal at a local shop. They had over stock from x-mas so everything was 50-75% off. So i picked up 2 10" Rockford Fosgate subs, 1200watt Audiobahn Amp, all the wiring and a Compustart alarm/remote starter...got all that for $1200. So when i get home in a few weeks ill finish the nitrous, get the sound system and alarm installed and then get tuned. Then in the spring ill have the new body kit and get the car painted....then im taking a break from modding the car..lol. |
Can't wait!

Recreational users should be aware that inhaling nitrous oxide from tanks used in automotive systems is unsafe because Sulfur_Dioxide, a toxic gas, is mixed in around 100 ppm specifically to discourage substance abuse. [14]
