Mishimoto compact Oil catch cans

Hey guys,

I'm looking to purchase some catch cans and I really like the Mishimoto compact baffle catch cans. They are only 3.8" in height and 2.5" in diameter. I think they will look really good in the engine bay and not take up to much space. My question is they have a 3 port can but I really don't understand what the 3 port setup would be in a TT setup. Can any of you gurus educate me on this or am I wasting my time and just go with the 2 port model?

Link to the catch cans I'm looking at. Amazon has them for slightly cheaper

Did you order these? Looks like they are generic cans that Mishimoto brands and marks up by 2.5x or so.

I bought a pair of the 3-port model for $50/ea on amazon, unbranded. $44/ea on ebay if buying directly from China - which be ever better for you in terms of proximity.

I went with the 3-port model because it was cheaper.. I found th 2-port model unbranded as well but for some reason it was still $80+. I will just install a plug in the unused inlet.

It appears most or all of Mishimoto's catch cans are just cheap generic cans that they've branded and marked up. The worst offenders are these two which have no baffling and can be had for $10-$20 on ebay/amazon even though Mishimoto lists them at $125+.

Mishimoto products do not have a good rep around here... personally I wouldn't run any of their junk... I am encouraged that they did not actually design or build any of these cans and also that they will not be making any kind of profit off of me.
