Nothing to worry about. Probably only a few affected and has affected 98 total products, meaning across the Nissan product range, not just the 370Z.

This could be and most likely Is a bad diff bushing. look under your car if you see the black tear of death coming from the differential...its blown. FYI they don't last long.

I just had mine replaced with whitelines bushing... that's what you're talking about right? I always wondered what's the long term effects of not replacing that

My car is a 2017 with 1300 miles on it but I did have whiteline bushings installed when I had my 4:08 gears installed.

Update! I called nissan consumer affairs and they agreed to cover it under the warranty so I would be reimbursed

Went last week to the dealership for this same issue. They covered it under drivetrain warranty.
