Csc issues while bleeding

Hello 370z forum.

First post and it's a bad one Unfortunately. I have a 2010 370z sports package with 23,000 miles. I had it for about 2 weeks before the csc went out when while I was driving. Car would not go into gear while car was on, but would when engine was off. So I replaced the master and csc with oem parts.

Once I starting bleeding, someone pumped the clutch. We heard a pop and fluid came rushing out the transmission housing.

Im thinking maybe the master wasn't adjusted properly but I'm
Not to certain. Any suggestions would
Help

No. Pump was slow and steady. Did about 5 at first, Then did about 8 more before it the Csc cracked and leaked

Having fought with this clutch system quite a bit, that sounds extremely likely.

Check your clutch to make sure the pop didn't splash any clutch fluid on the plate, as it can ruin your clutch.

And don't put another OEM CSC in there, for God's sake. Go with ZSpeed's CMAK.

You should also check that you have the correct clutch and flywheel in the car, If it is aftermarket it may be the incorrect height for a standard replacement slave cylinder.

Some companies make set-ups that are at different stack heights, IE OS Giken, SpecialtyZ etc. If you try to use a standard size slave it may over-extend it and blow out immediately.
